Ampelos - Wine Label & Packaging Design

Ampelos is a Greek Mythological character, who was said to be the son of the god of wine, Baccus. Ampelos was tragically killed by a bull and his father turned him into a grape vine and his blood into wine.

This design is for an organic wine label and packaging for duty-free shopping. The packaging is in the shape of a bag to reinforce travelling. Materials: Corigated cardboard, Velvet White paper (for lining), Silk Indian Beaded paper (for the outisde) and 10 mm String (handles)

Sting's ego symbolically represented by the larger tower in the centre, to enforce the tension between band members just before they split up. The Stamp represents the inevitability.



A 50's Comic Book Illustration style used to visually describe the stalker-like, creepy vibe the songs lyrics evokes.
